Parades

The formal parade uniform is a white shirt with the BB badge and company name sewn on the breast pocket, tie, black or company belt, long navy blue pants and polished school shoes. This is worn on special parades and youth services, generally held on the third or fourth Sunday of the month. Anchors wear red ties while Juniors, Company and Seniors wear navy blue ties.
At all times the arm band showing badges earned are worn on the right arm. BB hats are handed out on the parade Sundays prior to falling in. Arm bands and badges that are awarded to the boys by the BB, but if these are lost, then the boy is required to purchase replacement ones.
Attendance is mandatory for the following parades and parade uniform is worn for these services:
Founders Day Service - (Oct.) held at St. Paul’s Church. Boys to arrive by 10:15 at latest.
Enrollment Service - (Nov.) time & venue as above.
Youth Service - 3rd or 4th Sunday as per calendar.

Fundraising

We join with our sister group The Church Girls’ Brigade for an annual Valentines Fair / Car Wash. Families are asked to donate various items and their time to help us raise funds to provide extra equipment and supplies for activities for the children and often to donate part of the proceeds to charity. This is a great way to have fun, get to know each other and to show the boys Christian charity work.
